Should the AALS limit appearances at the Annual Meeting to just one per person per year?
This is a question that I’ve asked (here) before, and it’s not one pointed at Dean Chemerinsky. True, he was a speaker on two different “Hot Topics” panels. But I myself chalked up two conference appearances, as moderator of one session and speaker in a second. So Erwin Chemerinsky and I are included in that figure of 65 (admittedly, this likely will be the only occasion that I’ll ever be able to put myself in the same group — of any kind — as Dean Chemerinsky). Fine company (for me, at least), but might the conference be improved if the AALS limited appearances to one per person?
