Siskiyou County Sheriff Sgt. Karl Houtman and Dunsmuir City Code Enforcement Officer Toni Congi came to the home of Peter Arth, the Mount Shasta Herald reported. The visit was in connection with a newly-enacted marijuana cultivation ordinance.
Mr. Peter Arth Jr., former Chief of Staff to CPUC’s President Michael Peevey.
According to the Mount Shasta Herald, Arth was charged with violations of growing off site of his primary residence, growing outdoors, growing in the downtown historic district, and growing within 300 feet of youth-oriented activities.
Defiant, Arth refused to sign the citation. He was not arrested.
