Yolo deputy charged with sexual battery Woodland A Yolo County deputy sheriff was arrested Friday on charges of sexual battery, false imprisonment and battery.

Davis police arrested Anthony Crisp, 28, when he arrived at work Friday. He was booked on suspicion of assaulting three women at a bar in Davis early Saturday.

Officer Marcia Sinclair said one 21-year-old woman had told police that Crisp came up to her after making several remarks and wanted to dance with her, then held her wrists until she broke away and fled to a nearby restroom.

Sinclair said two other women in the bar, both 22, then reported that Crisp had also grabbed them by the wrists and the buttocks.

Yolo County sheriff’s Lt. Jim Peeples said Crisp had been placed on paid administrative leave pending an internal investigation.
